Excited about Burton Snowboarding’s 2014 collaboration with Gwen Stefani? Sure you are but possibly not as stoked as Burton’s VP of marketing Anne-Marie Dacyshyn is! She’s written a piece for the Burton blog about the new line (side point: our favourite piece is the Anorak Snowboard Jacket above left and the Pom beanie above right) which she describes as: “A new collection of outerwear no city or mountain has seen the likes of before!…All the tech I need in a jacket, with the perfect amount of glam & a combination of Burton’s on-mountain, tech-savvy functionality with Gwen’s bold street style.”
Anne-Marie Dacyshyn also says:
Think oversized houndstooth and large dalmation patterns, military inspiration and hazard orange mash-up, found in the Down, Bomber, Anorak, and Parka jackets, blended with breathability and waterproofing. Then add super cute and well-cut outerwear pants and some killer beanies, and you’ve just found the perfect collection that is ‘haute’ for the winter season.
