London's most popular festival returned last weekend, as tens of thousands of partygoers piled into it's new home at Brockwell Park for two days of live music, DJ sets and festivities.
Field Day is an event not only know for its ongoing ability to attract huge numbers, but also its daring approach to booking and line up, bringing a diverse and different sound to each year and never allowing itself to be pigeon holed into one genre.
This year was no different as away from what was an almost entirely electronic line up in 2017, the music included legends like Erykah Badu, Lee Field And The Expressions, as well as new jazz and soul acts such as Moses Boyd, Children Of Zeus and Mammal Hands.
While the music may change, one thing that you know you can expect from Field Day year on year however, is an amazing display of the kind of level of unique style that London girls possess.
Over the weekend we saw peacocking festival queens draped in sequins and glitter, bohemian hippy types floating around in paisley and sheer lace and South London locals, in the best independent brands the charity shops and markets of Brixton and Peckham had to offer.
Valandia & Samara
Valandia - "I'm dressed mainly in vintage. My jeans are vintage Versace!"
Samara - "I'm all vintage too, my top has no label, but the skirt is from a shop called E.L.K"
"I feel super basic saying this, but my striped playsuit is actually just an Urban Outfitters buy. It was pretty reasonable though and it's really comfy for all day festivals!"
"This top is from a brand I'd never heard of before called Unmentionables. I really love it"
"The skirt is from Topshop and my sunglasses are a cheap eBay purchase"
"These Bershka jeans are one of my favourite pieces of clothing, they're a great fit and they never lose their shape!"
"My top, face jewels and earrings are from my friends bedroom, I slept there last night and needed a new look for the second day of the festival."
"My favourite part of this outfit is still my hairband... I found it on a pub floor during a night out!"
"This dress was a last minute festival buy from Forever 21. It was on sale and looks great on its own, so my whole outfit was under ten pounds."
