But I guess it all went to pushy mum’s plan. Bagging her first modelling job before she turned one, notorious nude shots at ten, a breakthrough acting role as a child prostitute in the critically acclaimed Louis Malle film Pretty Baby at twelve, a Vogue cover at 14 and a Calvin Klein campaign later that year (very odd to watch even if you don’t know the actress is barely 15, the famous line “You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing” was uttered a year after that btw)… Brooke Shields was basically destined to become best mates with Michael Jackson. And make up for lost childhood time. She also had cool 70s style.
