During the winter season, professional freeskier Zuzana Stromková is as busy as she can be.
The Slovakian started skiing aged 3 and came to the limelight when she competed in the Winter Olympics at Sochi in 2014.
She went on to win bronze medal in Slopestyle at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships in 2015.
When she's not taking part in events and competitions, she's working on a number of projects with snow crews Inbetween and Snowgirls.
Her hopes are now set on making the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
We sat down with Zuzana to ask her about her favourite clothing items in the new Protest collection.
As a professional free skier you have certain demands when it comes to your outerwear. Can you give us some insight in what is essential for you to be able to perform?
I spend the majority of my time in the mountains, so I really need outerwear which is functional and can hold up any conditions.
Whether it is stormy or bluebird, I want to be happy with what I wear. I love outerwear that has a perfect fit, and I love feeling comfy in it.
What features does a jacket need to have?
I prefer longer cut jackets. Then, every jacket I have has a snow belt, a pocket for the ski pass and really high level of performance.
This allows the jacket to stop the water from getting inside, and also makes it breathable. These are the most important things that I expect from every jacket for skiing.
And your trousers?
I totally fell in love with the skinny cut, but more important is flexibility and the level of waterproofness.
I also appreciate a zip on the side, which allows me to tighten the pants on my boots.
I think this year's Protest Sportswear collection is perfect, I didn’t have pants that fit me so perfectly for a long, long time!
What are your favourite items from the Protest Sportswear outerwear range FW1516?
I have a lot of favourite items from Protest, but here are a few items I’d like to highlight from this winter's collection.
And I’d also like to mention the street collection, of which my favourites would be:
