You browse their online shop on the computers in store - and they will bring down anything you like from the store room for you to try on.
It's not all tech wizardry. There are also really helpful staff on hand to personally advise you on what kit to buy. On Saturdays in peak season, it's a good idea to book an appointment in advance.
Sputnik Snowboard Shop
Tucked away in the mountain-less town of Marlow in Buckinghamshire, you'll find one of the best snowboard shops in the south of England.
If you're in the Manchester area, get down to Subvert snowboard shop.
They stock some of the raddest snowboard gear around. They've got all your basic gear from the big hitters including Burton and Roxy - but they also stock some cool independent brands you might not have heard of.
There's always a friendly member of staff on hand to advise you. Visit them at the Chill Factore or in Castleford as well.
Unfortunately they don't have a physical shop - just an online one - but ideal if you know exactly what you want to buy already.
Based in Norwich, they've got solid team of staff who are ready to dish out the best advice on which snowboard or GoreTex jacket you should buy.
There's a vast array of gear to browse in store - and you can always order online if you're not in the area.
Snow + Rock
They've been running since 1982, which also makes them one of the oldest.
If you're looking for a good high-street snowboarding shop, then it's definitely worth popping into Snow + Rock - they've got 22 stores across the country.
While their female snowboarding range is not quite as comprehensive as their ski range, they've still got everything you need - from high-end riding jackets to avalanche kits - plus knowledgable staff on hand to help.
