The American company have been making sandals since the 1940s – using scrap leather from his military boot making factory.

The style has pretty much stayed the same since then – but they’ve become more colourful and radical. Now everyone from Alexa Chung to Fearne Cotton is wearing them.

They come in a rainbow array of colours and (as we mentioned above) are completely waterproof. Ideal for any adventurer who spends all their summer on the beach and wants to look good.
