Would You Dye Your Armpit Hair?

This rad new take on the rainbow hair trend is dividing opinion...

We love rainbow hair, but up unti now, we’ve only really considered rocking it on our head.

Rainbow underarm hair however, if one of the biggest (and most bizarre) trends of 2015!

First rocked by hairdresser Roxie Hunt, the trend now has thousands of followers.

Check out everyone sharing their own pics to the #dyedpits hastag on instagram and posting their neon pits other social media platforms as well!

Hunt is credited with starting the trned after she dyed a friends armpit hair blue and blogged about it, saying that it’s way more than just a style fad.

A woman’s right to choose what she does with her own body

“We aim to normalise the concept of body hair on women and help others embrace their own if they so choose.” writes Hunt.

“I work in the beauty industry which is as everyone knows an industry that pushes a lot of standards on women,”

“I strongly believe in a woman’s right to choose what she does with her own body.”

While we don’t know if we’re brave enough to join up and rock blue pits ourselves, we have to admit that the trend is growing on us.

More importantly however, we love the rebellious stand that dying the hair society frowns on so often such rad colours!

What do you think, would you dare to bare the rainbow armpit hair?
