Our friends from Transform Gloves notified us that British rookie Katie Ormerod just became the youngest girl ever to stomp a double backflip! At 15!! We say BIG BIG UPs girl and waaaay to go!!
So far, as far as we know, (a lot of fars there…) this has only been achieved by the mighty Cheryl Maas, Kimmy Fasani and fellow Brit Aimee Fuller. We can’t wait to find out where this prodigy might end up in the future of her career!
Katie had this to say after stomping the double back:
“I was super happy to land my double backflip! I have been wanting to try it for a while now, so to finally ride out on my feet was the best feeling ever! Definitely made my season!”
With Katie stomping doubles at 15 the future looks good.
