2) You know you’re gonna feel super self conscious on the beach…

3) But don’t worry! Follow our tips and you’ll be best buddies with the old folks by the end of the week

4) Offering to cook is a great idea!

5) … Just make sure you’re aware of any allergies to avoid poisoning any possible future in-laws

6) Talk to your partner before you go out for dinner about paying for the bill. So you can avoid that awkward nudging when the cheque comes…

7) If you know you’re a boozy oversharer, don’t go crazy with the wine…

8) You don’t want to end up slurring about how their mum is a Miranda and their dad is a total Carrie over dessert….

9) And you definitely don’t want to be found passed out on the sofa the next morning

10) Maybe avoid talking about politics and religion…

11) Stick to the easier subjects like sports….or the weather…

12) Staying in a shared house? Remember to tidy up after yourself

13) No one wants to see your wet bikinis all over the kitchen radiators

14) Late sleeper? Try your hardest to not keep everyone waiting ’til 1pm to go to the beach

15) Early riser? Don’t go clanking around the house at 6am when everyone else is trying to sleep off last night’s wine

16) Oversharing about your relationship with their darling child is not so welcome…

17) … Neither are PDAs

18) Remember they’re probably wondering what you think of them too!

19) Try to relax and have a good time! They must be pretty cool, they brought up your favourite person after all….
