Yesterday, we put up a video of Victoria's Secret model, Lily Aldridge's average day leading up to a show.
It shows all the food and exercise she does from when she gets up to bedtime.
We thought this video was more than a little crazy, Aldridge's video shows her drinking juices and going from fitness class to fitness class all day long.
We were surprised however at the reaction the video got on our Facebook page, with a mix of people commenting on its stupidity or complementing her on her commitment to her job and lifestyle.
Check out the video here:
When we first saw the video, we were struck by the excessiveness of her exercise routine, but also by the fact that it makes it very clear to the viewer that a Victoria's Secret Angel's body is not a natural one.
A video that shows the reality of the truly crazy lifestyle models have to live!.
We're super fed up of models digging into huge burgers and pints of beer and claiming that they just do 'a little cardio and yoga' when they have the time.
So it was pretty interesting to see a video that shows the reality of the truly crazy lifestyle models have to live!
We'd never want to comment on another woman's health, diet or lifestyle choices, (because, come on, what do we actually know about Lily Aldridge's life?!) but we do feel like we can comment on the video...
Six exercise classes a day? That's mental.
On Facebook, you guys had some good points to make about the video.
Some people were worried about the effect that the extreme levels of exercise must be having on her body:
Some felt pretty pissed at Vogue for putting up the video in the first place...
While others felt that Aldridge's commitment to her job was nothing but inspiring:
What do you think? Should Vogue have posted a video of Lily Aldridge's lifestyle like this?
Is it dangerous and unhealthy, or is it just the reality of life as a high earning lingerie model? Let us know in the comments below.
