Check out the first episodes of the One Life crew podcasts series with Chanelle Sladics, Kjersti Buaas, Sarka Pancochova, and Jamie Anderson.
The first one shows the girls doing some good work in Argentina:
My Little Footprint, Keep-a-Breast, and Protect our Winters collaborated in supporting our One Life project in Argentina in August 2010 at the South America Snow Sessions. Inspired to support the community of Bariloche, and the earth that gives us so much, we, One Life, and friends, built a greenhouse out of recycled plastic bottles, and bamboo from the local forest. We collected bottles for 2 days, cut lots of bamboo, rode epic powder, shared yoga, and threw a concert to celebrate our eco adventures.
One Love, One Life!

The second episode takes the girls to Sierra At Tahoe, where especially Kjersti had a lot of fun:
In this webisobe One Life ambassadors, Jamie Anderson, Chanelle Sladics, and I go to Sierra-at-Tahoe to ride and film the last days of the season. The best part was, that we got to design all the features our selfs. Jamie’s home resort was an awesome host and built a butter pad and a sick gap jump for us. The worst part was, that Sarka Pancochovaca had to fly home to Czech Republic for a knee surgery and could not ride with us… Enjoy my edit people! One Life, it’s a movement!

And last but not least, the girls went over the ocean and came to visit the Eurolands of Spain and Andorra…
Last season, we put our heads together and tried to come up with a creative approach to designing our own trip aboard.
The concept of this trip was for each of us to pitch a dream experience and whomevers pitch was most enticing- we would book it! No detailed itinerary, just follow the snow and the good times, in hopes to creating magic.
Norway, Italy, Canada, Eastern Europe all brought something special to the table, but it was Marie-France Roy’s Spain: snow, surf, skate adventure that inspired us most!
Due to high winds and rain, we rerouted our trip to Andorra midway, unfortunately the rain followed us there too! Most of us were unaware that Andorra was its own country, so this was extra exciting- a good world history lesson as well.
We made the best of our conditions building creative urban features, meeting locals and sightseeing some of the most amazing cities in the world: Granada and Barcelona. World class graffiti street art, museums, architecture and theatre were all on our list- truly making it one of the best cultural experiences for us to date! We all fell in love with the passionate culture of Andorra and Spain!
Thank you local Professional Snowboarder Merlin, “our Andorra guide”, and friend for life! You truly made our trip amazing!
Here is our adventure, hope you enjoy Spain and Andorra through our eyes!
