The first winter edition of the Nissan Outdoor Games by Columbia is set to kick off as the world’s best shredders gather in Chamonix for a new kind of film and photo competition.
From the 14-17th February, seven teams will be battling it out on Mont-Blanc to produce a stunning action sports video in record time. The teams will have just five days in which they can criss-cross the Mont-blanc range, filming their exploits in skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering, para-gliding and BASE-jumping.

If you fancy popping along, from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th February, the Outdoor Games village will open to the public between 3-8pm. There will be ice-climbing demos and classes, an autograph signing session and film screenings on giant TVs.
The highlight of the weekend will be from 5pm on Saturday, with an ice-climbing contest followed by a projection of the photos and films of the teams on a giant screen, followed by the awards ceremony, with the coveted ‘Aiguille D’or’ trophy voted for by a professional panel of judges.
