Spring shredding can be a bit of a wardrobe challenge. Last week’s SNOWBOMBING music and snow extravaganza in Austria’s Mayrhofen was a pretty typical example. Bikini temperatures down in the valley, and 10 cable car minutes later… still bikini weather, or freezing zero-visibility fog, or snow. You basically get in a little yellow ‘gondola’, as the locals call it, and go from this
where you wear something suitably glamorous/traditional/midriff-baring
to this
where it gets slightly more technical
or tanned
or badass.
Which you kind of have to be as there’s plenty of rugby and/or fancy dress loving lads on tour to dodge on the way down…
But she made it
and so did we (I’m POINTING at the sign above me by the way in case there’s some confusion re my hand gestures…)
