Aline Bock Lyngen Alps photo story

Aline Bock is just back from a super high level envy-inducing trip to the Lyngen Alps, here’s a photo story and account of her trip.

I know I haven’t travelled the world yet, and that there are a lot more adventures to come, mountains to ride, countries to see or cultures to get to know. But I think I can say that my last trip to northern Norway was once in a lifetime.

Our travel destination in Norway was Tromsö, a small town located 400 km north of the arctic circle. It was also our “new home’s” coastal base.

What made the trip extraordinary and unique were the remote splitboard/ski-tours and the long hikes from our swimming hotel up to the top of 1000-1400m high mountains, which had the most amazing view to the sea I have ever seen. A perfect chillout place –for some muscle relaxing time

The lines down to the ocean made me speechless, and the hike over the sandy beaches back “home” gave me the shivers.

Then we had a perfect farewell night… stunning sunset, beer and grilled marshmellows!

Good bye Norway ♥
