4) Woods of Net, Hakone Open Air Museum, Japan
By artist, Toshiko Horiuchi Macadam, the ‘Woods of Net’ was knitted by hand and is intended for kids (and we hope adults) to roll around in. Made of natural and traditional materials, it is intended to be permanent (and has been there since 2009) but is 100% disposable. It’s a piece of playful art!
