O’Neill Girls Shred Sessions Dachstein

Due to weather conditions, the last stop of the Girls Shred Sessions only hit up Dachstein last weekend, but it was a blast nonetheless as you can see – just like each and every single stop before!

Blue Skies, high temperatures and happy vibes were reason enough for over 20 snowboard eager and bunch of  freeski girls to make their way up to Austria’s finest glacier. Besides locals and up and coming talents, the mountain also saw some well-known faces like the O’Neill riders Lisa Veith and Anna Gasser showing up, as well as Isy Szumovski and Panka Gyarmati

The rather small but even more motivated freeski crew consisted of Marlena Gerhard, Stefanie Mössler, Moni Oberreiter, Regina Rathgeb and the 11 year old Aliah Eichinger from Germany. Despite her young age, Aliah is already capable of some big tricks. “For me freeskiing is more than a sport, it’s my purpose in life. My goal is to take once part at the Olympic Games.” It is more than likely that you’ll hear a lot more of this little lady in the future…

After the traditional group photo and a short lunch break, the day continued with a Goodie for Trix Session in the beginner’S park, where the girls took their chance to present themselves in the spotlight. But ‘nuff said, better check out the photo gallery and video edits to see what went down this day.

Altogether it was a perfect ending for a great season and definitely a positive outlook for the upcoming season. Hope all of you had a blast of a season and see you soon when the Girls Shred Sessions 13/14 are on again!
