3rd till 6th May saw the glorious third edition of the Stroke, one of Europe’s biggest Urban Art Fairs in Munich.
Famous artists from all over the world like NeoVandalism, Galerie Richter & Masset and Skount gathered on the Praterinsel in the centre of Munich to showcase their work and attracted even more art interested people. The historical building on the island has a magical flair and was a great location for the exhibition and the big after show party. The 13.000 visitors got a chance to watch live paintings, be creative themselves, buy art, books and other artsy stuff or just hang out in the cosy backyard.
So naturally we had to check it out and took some pictures to share our impressions with you – unfortunately some of the artists’ names were lost in the partying so if someone got any hints they’re very welcome…
“We experienced such an electrifying artistic atmosphere on the Praterinsel during these four days. Life and art were really celebrated in the way it should be and many wished it would have never ended…” resumed Marco Schwalbe, Crative director of the Urban Art Fair. And couldn’t agree more so check out the gallery below!
