Is there anything you don’t like about it?
I can get overwhelmed by seeing too much, to the point of not being able to walk down the street and get somewhere on a timely basis. Sometimes I have to keep the camera in my bag, or I would always be late. Also, I have a deep respect for the practice and craft of serious technical photography and sometimes feel sad that this aspect of the process has been left behind because of technology. That said, recent technology has also allowed for a new universal mode of sharing and I find this very exciting. So the true answer to this question is “no,” because I love every part of the process, both in terms of my own practice and in the observations of the practices others. And I feel very lucky that I’ve been able to work with both film and digital methods, which has informed every thing I’ve done thus far.
