Cycling
The facts around cycling when pregnant seem jumbled and slightly unclear, however it seems that if you want to do it, go for it!
Obviously cycling should be kept pretty tame (maybe give up your mountain bike for a few months) and properly researched.
Firstly, as you gain pregnancy weight, you’ll probably feel this as you ride, so a saddle cover or padded shorts are probably a good bet.
Avoid long cycles, especially during the first trimester.
Not only will you be feeling pretty tired anyway, this is when the really vital stuff is happening in your uterus, so take it slow.
Also, make sure you check out brands for maternity cycling clothes! There’s some great ones out there!
