Bethany Hamilton, one of our favourite surfers, has proven this year that you most definitely can surf when pregnant.
Some doctors believe that it is damaging to surf while preggers, but we say that as long as we’re careful, what works for Bethany, works for us!
Exercise in water is particularly good in pregnancy as it’s supportive.
This allows you to exercise safely by reducing the stress on weight-bearing joints, bones and muscles, while also providing the correct support for your growing bump.
So go out there and (safely) catch some waves!
