Passionate about surfing and teaching people to surf, Hannah Bristow has set up ‘We’re On Tour Travel’. It’s surf tours that take to the coast of Andalucia in eco friendly pimped out motorhomes. Similar to a surf camp, but you get to see all sorts of locations with the freedom to find the best waves. Sounds perfect to us! Here Hannah tell us more about life on the road…
‘Life on the road is awesome!’
‘The idea is just to have a surf camp experience with a difference. I really want people to get the most out of their holiday and enjoy the “surf hunting” experience. I’m so passionate about surfing and teaching surfing (that sounds lame but its true!) and I generally just froth on people having a good surf.’
‘So the tours I’m doing run up and down the coast of Andalucia (Costa de la Luz) and there are around 15 beaches that I go between. Depending on when people come out and what the conditions are like, I move them to where I think would be best suited. Also, in the summer it can get quite windy so I’m going to scout out Portugal so that if its too windy here in the summer, we can go there which is only 3 hours away.’
‘Our motorhomes are eco friendly! We run the battery on solar panels that are on the roof and you can charge anything, have the lights on, keep 6 fans on at night and it won’t run out of battery!’
‘The first tour was with 5 girls who are my friends and it went awesome! I’ve got 2 weeks to just get everything together for the summer and then it’s into the season with the bookings. Nervous but excited!’
