You might have already heard of bikram. This yoga style is going through a bit of a trend at the moment.
Practiced in a heated room, all bikram beginners classes consist of the same series of 26 postures, including two breathing exercises.
You might think this sounds a little intense, you would be right it definitely is!
The heat of the room causes you to sweat out unhealthy toxins during each ninety minute class, with some people believing that it leads to a higher rate of calories burned.
Many people who feel like normal yoga classes are a little slow love bikram for its endurance aspect. It gives you that super refreshed and detoxed feeling they got at every class.
We just advise you to take a big bottle of water, you’ll get thirsty real fast!
