I am in Argentina at the moment for a world cup competition which is being held at a resort called Chapelco in about 2 weeks time.

I have been here for 5 days and had got here early so I could do some training on the snow before the competition but it hasn’t stopped raining since we got here! It was ok for the first few days because it was raining in the town but snowing up on the mountain so there was fresh snow which is always good to ride on even though we couldn’t see it due to the cloud. But as of yesterday the temperature has gone up and it’s now raining all the way up to the top of the mountain and melting all the snow!

I came here for a competition this time last year and the course had loads of really big jumps which was fun (if a little scary) but I think this time we will be lucky to get a course at all never mind a big one.

Saying that I just looked out of the window and it looks like the sun might be breaking through so all may be well. I am going to stay optimistic!
