While we’re still waiting for summer, winter season is in full blow down under and so the World Rookie Tour heads to the other side of the globe as well, to celebrate the Australian Rookie Fest 2012 in Thredbo from August 16-17th, 2012!

This is the third time that the Black Yeti is going to Australia and invites rookies (born 1995, 96 and 97) as well as groms (born 1998 and later) to show off their talent!

Prizes include qualification and entries to the World Rookie Fest Finals in Ischgl, Austria in April 2013, as well as entries to Stylewars and The Mile High events, Red Bull stunt plane flights, “Gold Passes” to Monster Skate Park and filming with the World Snowboard Federation on the days following the event. All competitors will also gain valuable points on the World Snowboard Tour and World Rookie rankings.
