Searching for the best up and coming snowboard talents of the entire planet, the World Snowboard Federation has sent the Black Yeti on a tour around the world, also know as the World Rookie Fest and next week, they will hit the Valle Nevado in Chile!

From August 14-19th, 2012, the best rookies and the future talents from the South American shred community will head to Chile, for the third edition of the Mall Sport South America Rookie Fest, including a 2 Star TTR Slopestyle competition and 4 additional days with a backcountry program , a surf trip, as well as film and photo sessions with the Pros. The best riders of the event will be awarded with free invitation (flight not included) to the end of season 4Star TTR World Rookie Finals to be in held in Ischgl, in April 2013.

In addition to the snowboard event, the Mall Sport South America Rookie Fest will host some top rider from Europe, USA, Argentina and Chile, together with international media, in order to offer to the rookies a chance to meet professional riders.
