This week is the final construction phase of Europe’s first artificial surf reef. After holding our breath it is confirmed to be finished in September as scheduled.
This last phase includes fine-tuning the underwater structure, topping up the bags and making sure it is constructed exactly to the proper design requirements.
The reef is said to create a long 75m right hander and a shorter 35m left hand ride.
The number of good surfing days is soon to be on the rise!
