Carissa Moore wins ASP Women’s World Title 2013 at the EDP Cascais BOOM!

The mighty Carissa Moore from Hawaii has claimed her second ASP Women’s World Title at the EDP Cascais 2013 presented by Billabong, following Tyler Wright’s loss to Sally Fitzgibbons in the semi final, on-it readers will remember only 200 points separated the two ahead of this contest. Carissa Moore last won the title in 2011 losing out to Stephanie Gilmore last year, and recently she spoke publicly about the pressure she’d felt retaining her title. Cheshire cat grins from her ahoy!!

Not that it mattered but she went on to beat Sally Fitzgibbons in the final, winning her fourth event of the 2013 season. Go Carissa, a super cool story!!

When Carissa won in 2011 Nike released this video, no pressure to come up with something similarly rad Hurley!
