In just three days the Aesthetiker Jam – Waengl Taengl is on. All boardriders, whether skate or snow, will get the chance to showcase their expertise against a backdrop of streetart, live music and legendary parties.
Taking place in Mayrhofen, Tirol, from 1st-8th March 2008, the Aesthetiker Jam – Waengl Taengl is about hunting out the most creative and versatile boardrider.
The Vans-Penken-Park has been set up with an exciting array of obstacles for the freestyle snowboard contest with a prize pot of $50,000. The Aesthetiker Jam – Waengl Taengl is the last 5-Star event on the Swatch-TTR world tour, so along with prize money, this is also one of the last chances to gather valuable TTR world ranking points in a bid to grab a share of the $250,000 TTR prize purse.
The 6th and 7th of March are the important dates for the skaters.They will have a park setup of unique obstacles thanks to Red Bull, where they’ll have to pull some impressive tricks to bag some of the $50,000 prize money and brand new Suzuki RM-Z-250 motocross bike. There will also be IOU Mega Miniramp and Tag Team contests on the packed schedule, with the most stylish moves being rewarded with cash.
The riders list is close to completion with riders from 20 nations confirmed, including veterans such as Martin Cernik, Peter Stroem, Wolle Nyvelt, Danny Wheeler, Tonton Holland and Stefan Gimpl.
