Anderson is Youngest Girl Ever to Win X Games Gold

Billabong’s Jamie Anderson laid down a victorious first run in the women’s snowboard slopestyle to become the youngest gold medalist in Winter X Games history. Jamie was also awarded the honor of ‘Most Outstanding Female Athlete of Winter X Games 11’.

Jamie has had an incredible season. She placed 3rd in Slopestyle at the Winter X Games in 2006. She took 1st place in the O’Neill Evolution Quarterpipe competition in Davos, Switzerland on January 2nd, 2007 as well as 2nd place in the Honda Session Steel & Sky Rail Jam held in Vail, Colorado on January 13th, 2007. Jamie is the current leader in the Ticket To Ride World Tour rankings.
