Burton have a new event series to follow in the footsteps of the Burton AM Tour: The Burton Park Jam Tour that kicks off in March.

The Tour will launch with three stops this season in parks sponsored by Burton, followed by more stops throughout the summer and next winter. The events are open to all riders male and female, in total 50 riders per stop. Riders will be divided into two age groups – Girls & Boys (14 years and younger) and Women & Men.

All Burton Park Jam Tour events are 2 Star TTR events, which means all riders earn points for the Swatch TTR World Tour Ranking list, the same ranking list their heroes are on. It’s one day events including a free BBQ for all participants, starting off with qualifications (two runs) followed by the finals in a Jam Session format.

Marian Kaeding, Burton Europe’s Marketing Director, says: “The idea behind the Burton Park Jam Tour is to provide a platform for young talents to compete and to gain contest experience, but also to gather, meet like-minded riders and have fun together.”
