With her 2nd place at the slopestyle contest of the Burton US Open 2011, Jamie Anderson (USA) was crowned TTR world tour champ for the second time, while Enni Rukajärvi (FIN) won the US slopestyle title, Kelly Clark (USA) the halfpipe and Kjersti Buaas (NOR) The Jam.

Enni rode strong like always, stomping her winning run of a frontside 3 indy, backside 5 indy and Cab 5 mute, staying just in front of rival Jamie, whose switch backside 5 indy on the first kicker wasn’t too shabby either. Our current cover star Silje Norendal (NOR) came in third, thrilled to earn a spot on the US Open podium for the first time.

But also the pipe was sessioned big time by the girls. As usual Kelly put on the biggest show of all starting her run with a 9 indy grab, followed by a backside 5 mute and the only stomped 10! Following her closely was fellow countrywoman Hannah Teter, who fired back with a frontside 9 stalefish, backside 5 melon and frontside 7 stalefish.

And also Queen of Style Kjersti Buaas showed why she got that nickname for a reason in the allround contest ‘The Jam’.

We say big congrats to Jamie and we’re looking forward to another chase for the title and an exciting season next winter!
