Projekts MCR is hosting Manchester’s first ever Girls Only skate competition, under the Mancunian Way on 8 March to coincide with International Women’s Day.

Girl skaters from all over the country are invited to attend. There’ll be free skateboard coaching for beginners from 11am – 1pm, and £600 of cash prizes up for grabs for sponsored skaters.

For the measly £3 entrance fee, you’ll be guaranteed tunes, tuition and tricks, plus loads of great skate product from sponsors including Nikita, Death, Landscape and Independent Trucks.
