The first stop of the Protest World Rookie Fest went down in Livigno last week, with Norway and the East of Europe dominating the field. The podium for the rookie category was once again claimed by Katarzyna Rusin from Poland, who already won the finals in Ischgl last year and scored and interview with our print mag, which you can look forward to in the upcoming issue. Queen of the groms was fellow Eastern European Katerina Vojakova from the Czech Republic.
The 2012 event was the best edition of the Protest World Rookie Fest so far, with a lifestyle program of activities including Trip to Chile and The Art of Flight video premieres, Yoga sessions, Bob Klein’s workshop “Wanna be a Pro Snowboard?”, an inner city contest at the new Cable Park, a wellness day at Aquagranda SPA and, obviously, and unforgettable final party at Miky’s Pub.
