Kicking off tomorrow after a two-year hiatus, the fifth stop on the ASP Women’s World Title tour hits Rio de Janeiro for the Billabong Rio Pro 2o11. The pumping Brazilian town will witness hot competition between the current number one and two on the tour, the young Hawaiian charger Carissa moore, and current Cooler cover girl, a certain Ms Sally Fitzgibbons.  There’s no doubt that 18 year old Carissa has been ripping this year and is enjoying a solid first position, alhough Sally has been fighting back in recent competitions, taking first place in both the  Subaru Pro NZ and the prestitigous Bells Beach.

With former champ Steph Gilmore hot on Carissa and Sal’s heels, and with local lady Silvana Lima sure to give them a run for their money, the Billabong Rio Pro is set to be an exciting stop on the tour and we’re amped to see what’s gonna go down!
