Against our better judgement, we’ve signed up for the 145km charity Pro Tour Ride, which is the complete Stoke-On-Trent stage of this year’s Tour of Britain route. We’ll be getting training tips from the GB team and coaching from the professionals in the run up to the ride on the 6th September, and urge you to join us.
If 145km sounds a bit daunting, there’s the Challenge Tour Ride (70km) and the Family Ride (20km), which will also begin from under The Tour of Britain gantry at the Britannia Stadium, the home of Stoke City FC, just like the professionals will during stage 5 of the prestigious Tour of Britain race.
