Keep A Breast Foundation returns to the VANS Warped Tour

The Keep A Breast Foundation kicks off the second year of the “This Is My Story” campaign at the Girlz Garage during the VANS WARPED TOUR 2007

Launching on June 29 in Pomona, Keep A Breast will be taking breast cancer awareness to young music fans across America, encouraging them to record their personal experiences with breast cancer in the “This Is My Story” handmade journal.

The Keep A Breast Foundation is a non-profit breast cancer awareness organisation that creates one-of-a-kind plaster casts of the female torso, which are customized by fine artists and auctioned to raise funds for breast cancer research, treatment and support programs.

This campaign directly impacts teens in each city visited on the tour, providing a space to share their stories, and helping to reduce the fear and mystery surrounding breast cancer.

“We wanted to give a voice to today’s youth and offer them an outlet to show how breast cancer has affected their lives,” says Shaney Jo Darden, founder of Keep A Breast.

In addition to the handmade journal, Keep A Breast will film “This Is My Story” testimonies at several stops along the tour in an effort to capture a range of experiences from kids to band members.
