The Euro Winter X Games 2012 in Tignes have started and the first contests to be battled out were the Snowboard Halfpipe and Ski Slopestyle.
Once again it was Kelly Clark, who dominated the pipe, going bigger than anyone else – even on her 1080. But even tho there was still quite a gap point wise, competition is fierce and set to rocket off any moment. For example through Elena Hight, who got second but had already beaten Kelly at the US Open last week, or Kaitlyn Farrington, who got third. We’re more than curious to see how this will work out and if there’s gonna be a lil’ revolution next year…
The Skiing Slopestyle contest also greeted a very familiar face on the podium once again: Canadian legend Kaya Turski scored her third consecutive Winter X Games Tignes gold medal and her sixth ESPN X Games event gold with a 1080 as well. She was followed by Australia’s Anna Segal and Canada’s Dara Howell took bronze.
