The Master of the Ocean event will be kicking off from February 22-28th in Cabarete on the north shore of the Dominican Republic.
The annual event comprises a triathalon of wave riding with all participants taking part in surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing contests. The Master of the Ocean title will be awarded to the world’s best overall water sports athlete, who will bag a prize purse of $8,500.
Qualifiers will take place the 23-25th of February at Cabarete Beach, North Shore, Dominican Republic.
After the Qualifiers only the top 16 will compete in the finals that will be hosted in Playa Encuentro and Bozo Beach in Cabarete on the 25-27th of Feb with the 28th being held as the reserve day.
