The Nike+ Human Race is all set to be the world’s largest one day running event. Kicking off tomorrow, the event will see up to one million runners across the globe competing in a 10k race, with GB team captain Paula Radcliffe leading 30,000 Brits as they ‘Run for Britain’ against 25 different global cities.
London runners will start the race from inside England’s most iconic sporting venue, Wembley Stadium, following a live music concert. Those who live outside London can represent their country via the Nike+ website by taking part in the ‘Virtual Race’. Runners can simply use Nike+ iPod or SportBand to track their kilometres on race day and then download their run on the Nike+ site to have their results officially counted as part of the race.
