Hot tail it down to Newquay for the first ever women’s longboard semi’s and finals which will be going down this Saturday at Newquay’s famous Fistral beach.  Some pretty sketchy conditions at the start of the week should hopefully give way to some sweeter surf, and you’ll be able to catch former Cooler cover girls Jen Smith and Candice O’Donnell in action.  Cali native Jen Smith was runner up at the recent Roxy Pro in Biarritz and Candice has represented on the UK front as the national longboard champ, and they will be facing Emilie Libier from France and Aussie Georgia Young.

There is also a seriously rad music lineup, and any of you lucky buggers down there can catch the likes of Ben Howard, Fatboy Slim, James Owen Fender, Willy Mason and Scratch Perverts throughout the day on Saturday.  Looks set to be a super sweet weekend down the West Coast!  See you there with an ice-cold cider!
