Europe’s biggest surf, skate and music festival, the Rip Curl Boardmasters, hits Newquay between 4-10th August 2008.
You’ll be able to catch the world’s best surfers, watch amazing skateboarding and BMX action, booze at the huge bar on the beach – and now they’ve announced an amazing live musical line-up, with something to suit all tastes.
The Beach Sessions are live from the Fosters Bar at the iconic Fistral Beach. The intimate venue will bring you live music from some of the world’s best up-and-coming bands, artists and DJ’s. This year there will be five nights of live music from the likes of Kids in Glass Houses, Seth Lakeman, British Sea Power, Rodney P & The Nextmen and Shapeshifter.
The Unleashed Festival at Watergate Bay are proud to announce Groove Armada, The Zutons, The Pigeon Detectives, The Futureheads and Glasvegas all playing the main stage. Relentless will also be delivering a second stage with bands including Gallows, Johnny Truant, The Mystery Jets, The Holloways and more…

Moving into the town you can check out the Vans Newquay Park Pro, where the best street skaters in the country will battle it out at Wooden Waves Skatepark.
