Man oh man are we feeling summery today. And while the lucky few snaffle up the last dregs of Europe’s spring slush, for some of us at least, all thoughts have turned to surf. A feeling which was totally intensified when the press release for this year’s Roxy Pro Biarritz cruised into our inboxes.
The dates are set as 10-14 July 2012 and the world’s finest female surfers including last year’s ASP Women’s World Champ Carissa Moore, last year’s runner up and former Cooler cover star Sally Fitzgibbons and last year’s event winner and four-times World Champion Steph Gilmore are all set to be in attendance.
We are speaking from experience when we say this is one of the raddest surf events on the planet and if you in anyway can you should get your asses out there. Along with the ASP shortboard contest, they’ll be longboarding with the likes Kassia Meador, an art show, and a concert on the beach at Port Vieux featuring The Shoes.
