This season’s Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour will unfortunately miss Scandanavia’s top all-girl TTR FOUR(4) STAR slopestyle contest the Candy Jam as organizers announce its cancellation due to lack of sponsorship.

INACTION, the organizers, have chosen to re-schedule the planned event dates of 19th-21st April, 2007 in Åre, Sweden to a yet to be announced date in 2008. This extra lead-time will allow the creation of a stronger concept in preparation for season 07/08. The Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour is looking forward to a strong comeback from Candy Jam next year.

The Candy Jam is Scandinavia’s largest snowboard contest for women made by women placing focus on developing female snowboarding in Sweden. The park is especially designed and constructed for a women’s way of riding. Candy Jam is one of five solely arranged female-focused snowboard competitions in the world.
