Land Rover have partnered with the Dirty Weekend Multi Sport Festival to bring an action-packed weekend to Peebles in the Scottish Borders from 5-6th July.
The Dirty Weekend has a line-up of events designed to appeal to all levels of competitor, from the sporting elite to the wheezing rookie.
Events will include the ACE Race Adventure Race, the Polaris Mountain Bike Orienteering Challenge and the Dirty Dozen 12k Trail Run with top prizes on offer. In addition to a whopping £5000 in prize money up for grabs, the top placed mixed pair in the ACE Race Adventure Race event will also secure a spot for the Land Rover G4 Challenge to be held in Autumn 2008.
Throughout the weekend, the Land Rover G4 Challenge recruitment team will be on the scout for big time adventurers. The Land Rover G4 Challenge is a global adventure competition. Over 18 months, the scouts will be recruiting competitors from 18 countries and inviting them to participate in a thrilling three-week off-road driving and multi-sport adventure in the wilds of remote Asia.
Alongside the adventure action in the mountains of the Tweed Valley, there will be an event village with an on-site Ellis Brigham gear store, beer tent, live music and mountain bike trials riding demos. Plus, camping is free!
