Global Boarders, based in South West Cornwall, are running a ‘Fear Clinic’ in September and October this year to help intermediate surfers deal with their demons in the water.
Whether you want to be in control of your waves, perfect your top turns and cut backs, or simply improve your general surfing style and catch quality waves consistently, the course has everything you’ll need.
The Fear Clinic is an intensive training programme for surfers which blends passion for surfing and sustainable living into a trip that caters for the generation of surfers who want a more stylish and eco-friendly surf trip.
You will learn how to optimize your technique, develop your style and challenge your performance. You will also learn how to overcome any lack of confidence in your physical ability in the water, how to enhance your paddling technique, and receive the practical hints and tips from BSA-qualified instructors. The dates of courses for this Autumn are 19-25 September and there are courses kicking off on 3rd, 10th and 17th October 2008 that last anywhere between two and seven days.
