Snowboarders and skiers in Norfolk have got a real treat on the way. Today sees the LG Air Bag Tour 2008 make the first of eleven stops at Norfolk Ski Club in Norwich, neatly coinciding with the weekly freestyle night.

Places at the Air Bag sessions is limited so for your chance to be one of the lucky riders, make sure you register online. Riders from the regional events are also in with a chance of being part of the FSO4 Freeze in London. One person from each region will be selected based on their skill and style; winning an all expenses paid trip to London to ride alongside pro’s at the LG Big Air Invitational Finals.

British snowboarder Dan Wakeham will be in attendance to offer up some expert tips. Dan is passionate about the LG Air Bag Tour and creating opportunities to develop tomorrow’s Olympic hopefuls: “This is a fantastic initiative allowing snow sports enthusiasts to build their confidence and skills in a safe environment,” he says.

The LG Air Bag Tour is visiting eleven regional slopes across the country during September and October 2008, culminating in Freesports on 4 (FS04) Freeze, sponsored by LG at the Battersea Power Station in London from the 23–26 October. This music and snowsports festival will be a real spectacle with the highlight being some of the world’s best snowboarders going head to head in the FIS World Cup Big Air event.
