The Nissan Outdoor Games is bringing it’s unique blend of extreme sports and movies to Interlaken, Switzerland from 4-5 July, 2008.

The adrenaline-charged film festival will bring a host of outdoor sports to the big screen, as competitors bid to win some of the whopping $50,000 prize fund.

For 5 days (from 30 June to 4 July), the best kayakers, mountain-bikers, climbers, paragliders and base jumpers will partner up with sound and video experts produce a 5-minute film in the great outdoors.

Once the five teams have filmed and edited their footage, a jury comprising professional sportsmen and audiovisual specialists, will judge and select the winning entries. The films will also be projected to the Outdoor Games crowd on huge screens in the centre of Interlaken on Saturday evening. Cinema trips don’t get much better than that…
