Open-Entry Qualifying Rounds Will Kick Off Three Days of Fun on the Snow
What: An extraordinary field of professional women snowboarders from around the world will converge on Park City, Utah to compete in the Third Annual Roxy Chicken Jam beginning this Thursday, March 22. The six-star contest on the Women’s Ticket to Ride Tour (TTR) will feature a fun and festive “Country Fair” theme and offer a combined prize purse worth $30,000. In addition to the intense competition, event highlights will include autograph sessions, vendors, music, the crowning of division champions, the 2006/2007 Women’s Ticket to Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour Champion and more. Who: The three-day world-class snowboarding event will feature top level professional snowboarders from over 13 countries. The slopestyle division will feature *Torah Bright (AUS), Alexis Waite (USA), Amber Stackhouse (USA), Jamie Anderson (USA), *Cheryl Maas (NLD), Jenny Jones (GBR), Meri Peltonen (FIN), Sina Candrian (SUI), Silvia Mittermüller (GER), Natasza Zurek (CAN), Leanne Pelosi (CAN), *Kjersti Buaas (NOR), Erin Comstock (USA), Lisa Wiik (NOR), Anne-Flore Marxer (SUI), Tara Dakides (USA), Jacqui Berg (USA), Margot Rozies (FRA), Kimmy Fasani (USA), Laura Berry (GBR) and Claudia Fliri (AUT).
The superpipe division will feature Elena Hight (USA), Manuela Pesko (SUI), Holly Crawford (AUS), Meri Peltonen (FIN), Lesley McKenna (GBR), Tania Detomas (ITA), Lisa Wiik (NOR), Candrian Sina (SUI), Molly Aguirre (USA), Tricia Byrnes (USA), Paulina Ligocka (POL), Mercedes Nicoll (CAN), Juliane Bray (NZE), Sahra Conrad (CAN), Kendall Brown (NZE) and Dominque Valee (CAN).
Open-entry qualifiers will feature top local standouts.
