Girlie international LTD presents heliskiing,
preseason snow camp and a new crewmember
“We would like to say thank you to our great partners Roxy, Laax resort, Nitro, Method, Surf Europe, Cooler and Onboard for a great season of snowboard camps 2007.
It is obvious for us to continue having our snowboard camps in Laax next year, since the resort is one of the most appreciated in Europe. We though have other news for upcoming winter season:
Tina Birbau
New Crew Member
We are very proud to present our new crewmember – Tina Birbaum. 10 years ago Tina was one of the first girls who became a professional snowboarder. She has now taken the decision to stop riding, and to start working for Girlie Int Ltd. Tina is also one of the founders of the Roxy Chicken Jam, the first ever professional girls only snowboard event, which is getting bigger every year.
She will be our new Camp director of the snowboard camps and work with the development of Girlie Camps.
“Doing something for women’s snowboarding has always been one of my goals. Girlie Camps are the perfect platform to pass on some of the experience and knowledge that I’ve gained through my 10 years as a professional snowboarder. I am very excited to work for such a big hearted and true company. I think Girlie camps will have a great future with many new interesting projects coming up, which will help the growth of women’s interest in action sports. I am proud to being part of it!”

Pre season camp
In October 2008 Girlie and the Roxy team will start the season early and we will offer a pre season camp on the Saas Fee glacier 26.9 – 30.9.2007. During these four days you will have the opportunity to ride the famous half pipe and well-shaped park of Saas Fee together with Roxy superstar Torah Bright!

This winter we are going to have four amazing weeks of snowcamps in Laax!
Now we also have many different possibilities to offer for the girls for their accommodation during these weeks. The choices are either to stay in a
3-4 person apartment including breakfest,dinner and a lifticket ( 640e), or with your own food (620e). For two person apartment the price including ticket,breakfest and dinner will be 670e. We are also exited having our new camp director Tina Birbaum with us in Laax!
Heliskiing
In May 2008 we will offer heliskiing in the area where you find the highest mountain in Sweden, called Kebnekaise. We will take you out to the wildness of the nature where only the helicopter can bring you, and you can also experience the famous Swedish 24 hours sunshine. We stay together at the base camp on the foot of the mountain.

Large events to remember for next season are for example, the biggest all girl snowboard events– Roxy Chicken Jams in Kitzsteinhorn, Austria and Park City, Utah.”
