This Saturday, July 7th it’s time for the mighty girls skateboard contest Girlzilla at the NASS Festival in Bath in the UK. And they’ve got one hell of a line up, as the press release reveals…
The comp will be split into a World Cup Skate event and an Open event, providing a stage for the worlds top female riders to battle it out, aswell an opportunity for other girls to come and compete in a fun environment.
The World Cup Skate event will feature pro riders such as Emma Lindgren (SWE), Leticia Bufoni (BRA), Lacey Baker (US), Alexis Sablone (US), Jessica Florencio (BRA), Lucy Adams (UK), Bia Sodre (BRA), Hedvig Larka (SWE), Vanessa Bonilla (US) and Siri Wallenten (SWE). They will compete for a share of the $1,600 prize purse. The format will be a short individual intro, followed by two group jams before cutting to a final jam.
The Open event also looks great with a field of riders from UK, Japan, Poland and France to name just a few. They will be competing for a share of a £200 and a selection of product prizes. The format will be three group jams before cutting to a final jam.
